When should I book to be ready before Thanksgiving or Christmas?
Sooner than you think. The two weeks before Thanksgiving and the stretch from early December through Christmas are the busiest of our year, and those slots fill first. Two to three weeks of lead time gets you the day you want with room to spare. If you're inside a week, call — we'll tell you honestly what's still open.
Is there a holiday surcharge or rush fee?
No. Holiday-season work is priced exactly like any other visit — the published starting prices and the $140 service minimum apply, and you get the quote in writing before we start. Carpet cleaning still starts at $169 for three rooms. No seasonal premium, no rush fee.
Will my carpet be dry before guests arrive?
Yes, with a little planning. Carpet is typically dry to walk on in a few hours and fully dry within the day, and we stage air movers to speed it up. That's exactly why we push you to book a few days ahead of the guests rather than the morning of — so there's a comfortable buffer and nothing is damp when the door opens.
Can you clean the sofa and chairs too, not just the carpet?
Yes — that's the smart pre-holiday move. The carpet and the upholstery your guests actually sit on both get seen and used over the holidays. We clean sofas, sectionals, recliners, and chairs the same visit as the carpet, and area rugs too. Bundling it into one visit is also the most cost-effective way to do it.
What if I waited too long — can you still fit me in?
We'll try, and we'll be straight about it. Towns closest to Lyndhurst (Rutherford, East Rutherford, Wood-Ridge, Garfield, Secaucus) have the best odds of a late-notice slot because the route lines up. But the honest answer is that the last pre-holiday week books out — so if the date matters, don't wait for it.
Do you work weekends and evenings before the holidays?
We work Sunday through Friday, 7am to 7pm, and we're closed Saturdays. Sundays and weekday evenings before the holidays go fast, so those are the first to lock in. Sun–Fri 7am–7pm · Closed Saturdays.
