Wool rug that's been cleaned wrong before
Crunch from leftover detergent, browning from over-wetting, or pile flattened from agitation. Off-site immersion wash + proper rinse + flat-dry usually recovers it.
Viscose / silk-blend rug nobody wants to touch
Browning risk is real with viscose. We test conservatively in a hidden corner and use a controlled low-moisture process. If we can't guarantee a safe outcome, we tell you.
Hand-knotted or heirloom rug from a parent or trip
Inspection on pickup with photos. Dye stability test before water touches the rug. Fiber-appropriate shampoo, hand-controlled rinse, flat-dry over 24-48 hours.

Will every stain come out?
No — not every stain. Most come out, but some are permanent: bleach, hair dye, paint, or old urine that altered the dye. We identify likely outcomes during the pre-inspection and treat with the right chemistry and dwell time, and if a mark won't fully lift we'll explain why and suggest options like color repair or rug placement.
Can you clean delicate fabrics like linen, cotton, or viscose?
Yes, with extra care. Viscose and rayon are notorious for browning and texture change, so we use conservative low-moisture processes and test thoroughly before committing to a full clean.
